Personal and economic liberty.
What books should be required reading in government schools?
There should be no compulsory education and no reading required by threat of force.

My recommended reading list for every student of liberty (high school age and up) would currently include the Bible, The Law, Economics in One Lesson, Economics for Real People, Meltdown, Politically Incorrect to the Great Depression and the New Deal, Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism.
