You might be a libertarian.......

If you think government is too big, too expensive and too powerful.......you might be a libertarian

If you would rather put an outhouse in your back yard than pay higher property taxes for new plumbing fixtures.......you might be a libertarian.

If you have ever asked a candidate for local office whether they have read the US Constitution.....you might be a libertarian.

If you can answer the question “Who is John Galt?”........ you might be a libertarian.

If you would rather “waste” you vote that give it to a candidate who does not deserve it.......it you might be a libertarian.

If you have ever participated in a debate that had anything to do with Lagrange Points...........................................you might be a libertarian.

If you think the Constitution is the only Contract With America that we ever needed........you might be a libertarian.

If you understand that the purpose for the separation of church and state is to protect churches for the corrupting influence of state, not to protect the state from the corrupting influence of churches.........you might be a libertarian.

If you ever deliberately drove through a police check point without wearing your seatbelt, just so you could hire a lawyer to challenge the ticket in court........ you might be a libertarian.

If you have ever lost an election by a million votes, and then asked for a recount, you might be a libertarian.

If you believe that it is not the job of government to be your mommy, your daddy or Robin Hood......you might be a libertarian.

(Portions of the above material may have appeared previously in other publications. Respect for intellectual Property Rights might make you a libertarian.)
