A Libertarian Government

A group to discuss what the State and Federal Government would look like if Libertarians had absolute power.

The easiest way for Libertarians to convince non-libertarians that we can govern is to explain how we'd govern. Write out what you believe the State and Federal Government would look like if Libertarians had a super majority, and how the average person would benefit.

It sounds as though the govt will give a bailout to the automakers..

In a Libertarian Govt GM, Ford, Chrysler would not get a bailout and would be allowed to fail(as they should in free markets) while leaner, more effecient companys would take their place. Companies like Toyota, Honda, and brand new car companies would compete and profit. These bailouts are sickening and are really 'taxation without proper representation' because lawmakers are taking it upon themselves to go against the majority of the population that are against blowing taxpayer money on this idea that "too big too fail overrules the peoples vote"...(i.e. the $700 billion Bank Bailout where 100 to 1 constituents told their congressman to vote against it)....It is past time for lovers of liberty speak out louder and throw out these treasonists and monopolists once and for all....The Dem's and the Republicans take tons of campain money in return for these favored status companies!!! I want my country back!!! Treas Sec Mellon told Hoover that the system needed to purge the bad debts and poor companies and instead, Hoover(and subsequently Roosevelt) did not let it(the economy) cleanse itself...If we could have a libertarian run govt, this cleansing process would happen in one bad year and we could grow the economy again!!

any lawyers on here that can take a look at this taxation by virtue of new debt accumulation issue?
